Building Our Classroom Community
In this unit, you welcome children into their classroom community, where they will learn and grow so much with your support and guidance. Set the tone for the year by getting to know each individual child, helping them feel safe and secure, and teaching them the routines and rituals that help them feel confident in and knowledgeable about their new classroom community.

Mindful Moments
We offer various mindfulness exercises called Mindful Moments throughout the curriculum. Mindfulness exercises help people to focus on the here and now. Our Mindful Moments often include conscious breathing and visualization. These practices strengthen children’s self-awareness, and encourage a deeper sense of connection to others and the world.
